  • You are invited to our first Cine Experience to take place on October 16th from 6:30-9:30pm! Sponsored by ProductionHUB and Canon, the Cine Experience is a night event during which you will be able to get some real hands-on experience. We want you to be the cinematographer! Talk to reps from Canon, Red Rock, Profoto, Manfrotto, Zeiss, HasselbladBron, and LaCie about all of your video production needs and ask questions! Two areas will be set-up, one of which includes a green screen, where you will be able to test out a wide variety of cinema equipment from Canon Cinema cameras and Canon, Schneider, and Zeiss motion picture lenses to rigs, tripods and audio gear. John Huba from Canon will be doing more than one presentation on Hybrid Imaging, which is a method of shooting video and then extracting still photographs from that video. For a number of demonstrations, John Huba will be demonstrating a hybrid workflow with a Canon EOS 1DC. Hybrid photography is a method of shooting video and then extracting still photographs from that video. Huba will be shooting video in 4K and using Adobe Premier Pro to extract still frames. Hybrid shooting allows a photographer to streamline their workflow to achieve high quality video and stills from one camera enabling a single vision to be created. Refreshments will be served.

His Emmy nominated documentary “Hey Vinny”, tells the story of quintessential New Yorker Vinny Vella. Recently, Huba’s film “Seamus” premiered at the Woodstock film festival to glowing reviews. John Huba continues to travel and shoot all over the world combining his photography and filmmaking skills to utilize the hybrid method of shooting.
